ZONE 1 - Listen
“The Voice” that spoke at the time of Jesus birth has been silent for thirty years.
Now, it speaks again through John – Jesus’ cousin. In the wilderness, far from the towns and villages, people folk to hear John and be baptised as a sign of getting ready for the coming of the “The Voice”.
And Jesus comes too, preparing for the journey “The Voice” calls him on.
The prophet Isaiah … wrote: “Listen! I will send my messenger ahead of you”. So John .. came .. and told them to be baptized to show that they wanted to change their lives. John told the people: ”I baptize you with water, but the one who is coming will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” John baptized Jesus … as he … was coming up out of the water … a voice came from heaven and said, “You are my Son, the one I love. I am very pleased with you.” (Mark 1, The Bible)
